Overview: This full-time, paid summer internship introduces students to quality engineering within the defense electronics industry. Interns will support root cause analysis, quality audits, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives under the guidance of the Quality Manager. The position provides hands-on exposure to the full product quality cycle in a mission-critical manufacturing environment.

• Location: San Diego, CA

• Modality: In-person

• Compensation: $20.00–$24.00/hour

• Estimated Time Commitment: Full-time during Summer 2025

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field

• Preferred: Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and familiarity with LabView, Visual Basic, MS Access, or AJAX

• Strong communication, analytical, time management, and teamwork skills

• Ability to conduct statistical analysis and interpret complex technical data

• Participation in Lean/Six Sigma or 5S initiatives is a plus
