Organization: Hydrosat

Overview: Hydrosat is seeking a summer engineering intern to support testing of orbital imaging systems and assist in the development of next-generation payload prototypes. Interns will design and build test setups, perform experiments, and analyze data under close mentorship from senior engineers. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in imaging technology and climate-focused hardware development.

• Estimated Time Commitment: Full-time during Summer 2025

Eligibility Requirements:

• Undergraduate student with college credit earned in a STEM field (engineering, physics, etc.)

• Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks)

• Familiarity with standard lab and hand tools

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nighttime testing

• Preferred: Experience with Python or MATLAB and knowledge of image capture/processing

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
