We are thrilled to announce our “No Longer Afraid” Documentary Screening in the Mother Rosalie Hall at USD . This screening will debut the inspiring story of Elina Fomina, a Ukrainian rhythmic gymnast who overcame incredible challenges to make an impact in her community.
This 30-minute documentary highlights Elina’s journey from competing on the Ukrainian National Team to coaching young gymnasts in San Diego after immigrating to the U.S. during the war. This first look at our documentary screening event will also feature stories from our Ukrainian Storyteller Scholarship interviews and insights into Triple V’s programs, including our efforts to support Ukrainian students in the U.S. and abroad.
We also invite guests to stay after the screening for a Q+A with our director, Zackary Rayner. Following the Q+A we will have a brief networking hour with Hors d'Oeuvres on the patio.
Please join us to support Elina, hear her story, and support our Ukrainian Scholarship Program! All proceeds and donations will go to our Ukrainian Scholarship Program and support Elina!
Parking will be available and more info will be sent to registered attendees.
