Overview: WSP USA is seeking a part-time Environmental Science Intern for Summer 2025. This 12-week internship offers hands-on experience in Environmental Science tasks, including project research, fieldwork, technical report writing, and regulatory framework learning. Interns will engage in meaningful projects alongside senior staff while participating in the Developing Professionals Network for mentorship and networking opportunities.

• Location: San Diego, CA

• Modality: In-person

• Compensation: $19.13 - $26.45 per hour

• Estimated Time Commitment: 12 weeks, starting May 19, 2025 (flexible start date)

Eligibility Requirements:

• Actively enrolled in an accredited Undergraduate program in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or PhD candidates preferred)

• Anticipated graduation date of August 2025 or later

• Must be 18 years or older

• Demonstrated interest in Environmental Science or related fields

• Competent interpersonal and communication skills

• Basic proficiency in technical writing, office software, and tools (Microsoft Word and Excel preferred)

• Proven ability to uphold workplace safety and comply with WSP’s health, safety, and harassment policies

• Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship

• Must successfully complete and pass WSP’s Motor Vehicle screening

• Occasional travel may be required
