Overview: This entry-level internship focuses on career exploration and building fundamental public land management skills. Participants gain hands-on experience in conservation, cultural preservation, and natural resource management.

Key Information:

Location: Various National Parks

Modality: In-person

Compensation: $640 weekly stipend, plus commuting stipend (if needed), housing, and travel expenses for out-of-state participants

Estimated time commitment: 11 or 20 weeks

Eligibility Requirements:

• US citizen or permanent resident (green card holder)

• Ages 18–30 (up to 35 for veterans)

• Ability to complete 640 service hours for Public Land Corps noncompetitive hiring authority eligibility

• Must meet internship requirements, including background check clearance
