Overview: The Ohio Safety Officers College Memorial Fund provides undergraduate tuition assistance to children, spouses, and qualified former spouses of peace officers, firefighters, and certain other safety officers killed in the line of duty. It also supports children and spouses of U.S. armed service members killed in the line of duty during Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, or combat zones designated by the President of the United States. This program is available for Ohio residents who are pursuing associate’s or bachelor’s degrees or are enrolled in certificate programs.
