Overview: The Internship/Volunteer for Graphic Design (REMOTE or IN-PERSON) will support the graphic designer in creating print and web projects, designing ads and event programs, organizing files, researching images, and assisting with design concepts. This role also involves completing various graphic design prep work and contributing to brainstorming sessions.

Key Information:

  • Location: Remote work with occasional in-office requirements at 1600 Forbes Way, Suite 200, Long Beach, CA 90810

  • Modality: Hybrid (Remote and In-Person)

  • Compensation: Non-paid internship/volunteer

  • Time Commitment: 10-15 hours/week, minimum four-month commitment

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign)

  • Understanding of web design standards and print production

  • Must complete a volunteer application, training, and background check

  • Access to own computer for remote work

  • Additional requirements: general consent, volunteer identification, general orientation & protective behaviors, references (for minors and interns), and a resume
