Eligibility Requirements:
Must be an international student (not a citizen or permanent resident of the country in which you are studying for Fall 2025)
Must be enrolled in or planning to enroll in a postsecondary degree program (Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor’s, Master’s, Ph.D., or professional programs like law and medicine) for Fall 2025
Must demonstrate potential through a combination of merit, writing skills, and a personal essay describing how they have maximized their potential given their circumstances
Financial need is considered but only in the context of maximizing potential

The selection is holistic, considering merit, essay quality, and future potential
Application Materials:
A short Google Form
A 500–700 word essay on the topic: “Describe your educational journey emphasizing how you have maximized your potential given your circumstances. In addition, please tell us how you plan to continue to do so after your degree.” (Submit as a PDF in the Google Form)
Selection Process:
Finalists (3-5) will be notified between June 15th and 30th, 2025
Finalists must submit:
A copy of their passport (passport number covered)
An acceptance letter or proof of attendance
A written agreement to fulfill social media responsibilities if selected
A short Zoom interview may be required
Winner announced between July 15th – 25th, 2025
If Selected as Winner:
The winner must agree to be featured on GlobalScholarships.com’s "Past Winners" page with a picture, name, institution, and short bio
The winner will also be featured on GlobalScholarships’ social media channels
