Overview: Element Biosciences is seeking a Genomics Applications Intern to support the Applications team in conducting robust tests for product launches and extending genomic applications. Interns will explore next-generation sequencing (NGS) assay compatibility, work on assay improvements, and perform experiments using cutting-edge instruments. The internship offers exposure to groundbreaking projects, collaboration with top researchers, and opportunities to develop scientific and professional skills.

• Compensation: $25–$40 per hour (based on degree and experience)

• Estimated Time Commitment: Full-time

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Undergraduate or Master’s level student with a focus on Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related fields preferred

  • Experience in a wet lab environment (e.g., pipetting experience) is a plus

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills

  • Ability to conduct scientific experiments independently or with reasonable guidance

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
