Organization Overview: KFM Making A Difference is an organization focused on spreading disability awareness and giving scholarships for students with autism to pursue a post-secondary education. Founded in 2009 by CEO and President Kerry Magro, the organization hopes to “make a difference” in the lives of all of those with special needs.
Key Information: Apply for the ‘Making a Difference For Autism Scholarship’ for a chance to win $500. The application includes a cover letter, resume, letter of reference, and essay. The essay should be no less than 750 words and no more than 1,000 words on your story of growing up on the autism spectrum. These essays should be aimed to educate, inspire and/or motivate our autism community.
Eligibility Requirements:
Note: All high school students with autism attending a post-secondary program in the 2025-2026 academic year may apply. In addition, all current college students with autism may apply as well who will be attending a post-secondary program in the 2025-2026 academic year.
This scholarship has no geographic restrictions meaning it’s open to all upcoming and current college students with autism in the U.S and internationally!
