Overview: The Field Science Fellowship supports UC faculty and undergraduate teams conducting field research at one of the 41 NRS reserves. This fellowship promotes mentorship and hands-on research experience, fostering undergraduate engagement in field sciences.

  • Funding: Fellowship covers research-related expenses and supports mentorship between faculty and undergraduates

  • Time Commitment: Equivalent to eight weeks of full-time research during the project field season

Eligibility Requirements:

• Enrolled at a UC campus through the project duration

• In good academic standing (cumulative and most recent term GPA ≥ 2.0)

• Available for eight weeks of full-time research

• Must be degree-seeking; short-term international students are not eligible
