Overview: The Vocational Education Scholarship provides up to $5,000 in financial support to high school seniors and graduates pursuing an AA/AS degree or a certificate program at a community college or accredited trade school. This scholarship recognizes students who have participated in events at the Del Mar Fairgrounds or Horsepark, worked at the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club, or were employed by the Del Mar Fairgrounds, Del Mar Thoroughbred Club, or a Fairgrounds contractor.

Scholarships are awarded in the following categories: 4-H, FFA, Employee, Exhibitor/Participant.
Junior Livestock Auction (JLA) Scholarships available for 4-H or FFA students
Spanjian Family Scholarship ($5,000) awarded to an outstanding recipient
Scholarship funds must be used within four years
