Overview: TechWORKS offers comprehensive services for Homeless Veterans or those at risk of homelessness, helping them improve their skills and become self-supporting. The program provides housing referrals, vocational assessment, career counseling, computer training, labor market information training, job readiness training, and support services. Veterans can also access job development and placement services at no cost.

• Location: South Metro Career Center, 4389 Imperial Ave, San Diego, CA 92113

• Modality: In-person

• Compensation: Free program for eligible Veterans

• Time Commitment: Flexible, based on individual needs and program activities

Eligibility Requirements:

• Open to individuals with disabilities

• Open to individuals without permanent housing.

• Veterans must have a discharge status of “Other than Honorable” or above

• Proof of Veteran status (DD214), current ID, and Right to Work documentation required
