Overview: The Synchrony Scholarship supports autistic students of color pursuing undergraduate education. Eligible programs include two- or four-year colleges, life skills programs, vocational schools, and trade schools. Applicants must belong to an underrepresented racial/ethnic minority group and can apply to only one of OAR’s three scholarship options.

Eligibility Requirements:
Must have an established autism diagnosis (DSM-IV or later criteria)
Must be attending or accepted into an accredited U.S. postsecondary institution
Must belong to an underrepresented racial/ethnic minority group, including Black/African American, Indigenous, Hispanic/Latino, Asian American/Pacific Islander, Middle Eastern/North African, or Multiracial
Required documents: Online application with basic information and essays, One letter of recommendation from a non-relative, Proof of autism diagnosis (required for finalists), and Proof of enrollment
