Overview: This $1,000 scholarship supports students who are hard of hearing or deaf and are pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree in the United States. The scholarship can be used for tuition, books, and supplies for any semester during the 2025-2026 academic year. Funding is provided by Sertoma, Oticon, Inc., and other grantors.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen

  • Must have a bilateral hearing loss of 40dB or greater, as evidenced by an audiogram (SRT or PTA)

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree full-time (graduate, associate, community college, and vocational programs are not eligible)

  • Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
