Overview: The Core/OCLC Spectrum Scholarship aims to address the under-representation of racially and ethnically diverse librarians in library technology. It supports students pursuing a graduate degree in Library and Information Science at an ALA-accredited institution. The scholarship provides $5,000 toward graduate education and $1,500 to attend the Spectrum Leadership Institute during the ALA Annual Conference.

  • Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an ALA-accredited or AASL-recognized program by September 1 (fall semester)

  • Must maintain full- or part-time status and a minimum course load of two classes per semester
