Organization: The Borgen Project

Overview: This part-time, remote internship focuses on building awareness of The Borgen Project’s mission through PR and marketing efforts. Interns will create branding campaigns, pitch stories to media outlets, develop fundraising strategies, conduct focus groups, and support social media and advocacy initiatives—all while gaining hands-on experience in nonprofit marketing.

  • Compensation: Unpaid (college credit available)

  • Estimated Time Commitment: 12 hours per week for 12 weeks (flexible pace available)

Eligibility Requirements:

  • No prior experience required

  • Open to students and individuals interested in marketing, communications, or public relations

  • Must be creative, self-driven, and committed to the organization’s mission

  • Must commit to 12 hours/week
