Organization Overview: Helix Electric, founded in 1985, is one of the nation’s largest electrical contracting companies. The Project Engineer Internship provides a hands-on approach to learning by working directly with project managers and field teams. Interns are involved in a variety of project phases, ensuring exposure to the construction industry’s inner workings.

Key Information:

• Location: San Diego, CA and Various locations

• Modality: In-person

• Compensation: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour, plus potential for bonus and benefits

• Estimated Time Commitment: Full-time during the internship period

• Additional Benefits: Relocation assistance and housing stipend or corporate apartment

Eligibility Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.

• Previous construction or internship experience is preferred.

• Strong communication, organizational, and math skills.

• Ability to work well across different levels of the organization.
