Overview: Funded by an anonymous donor, the Personal Achievement Scholarships support LGBTQ+ individuals who have overcome challenges such as being a first-generation student, having English as a second language, experiencing illness, or facing other life challenges. These scholarships are available for students attending accredited colleges, universities, or vocational programs.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA for high school seniors, 2.8 GPA for undergraduate/graduate students

  • Resident of San Diego County

  • LGBTQ+ high school senior continuing to full-time** undergraduate study or LGBTQ+ full-time** graduate student, especially those who have overcome significant challenges

  • Must attend the Awards Ceremony (May 31, 2025)

  • Note: Half-time applicants will be considered with an explanation of circumstances
