Overview: The Kyoto Prize Scholarship, in collaboration with Japan’s Inamori Foundation, recognizes high school seniors from San Diego County and the greater Tijuana region for academic excellence and community involvement. Scholarships are awarded in categories inspired by the Kyoto Prize: Advanced Technology, Basic Sciences, and Arts and Philosophy, and are valued up to $10,000.

Eligibility Requirements:
Graduating high school senior in San Diego County or greater Tijuana region
Full-time enrollment at an accredited four-year U.S. university in fall
Cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
Active community involvement
Must attend the March 12, 2025 Gala if selected for the $10,000 scholarship
