Organization Overview: Scripps Research is offering a year-round part-time Research Internship. Interns will gain hands-on laboratory experience, performing tasks such as glassware washing, autoclaving, media preparation, and supporting experimental procedures under the supervision of laboratory staff. This position provides an opportunity to develop professional skills while contributing to cutting-edge bioscience research.

Key Information:

• Location: La Jolla, San Diego, CA (CA Campus)

• Modality: On-site

• Compensation: $16.30 - $19.00 per hour (based on experience)

• Estimated Time Commitment: Part-time, up to 19 hours per week (year-round position)

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be currently enrolled in high school, an associate’s program, a bachelor’s program, or a master’s program

• Strong interest in bioscience and laboratory work

• Ability to support basic laboratory maintenance and follow experimental procedures
