Organization Overview: Scripps Research, a world-renowned biomedical institute, is offering a year-round part-time Research Internship in La Jolla, CA. Interns will receive hands-on experience, closely supervised training, and opportunities to develop professional skills while supporting laboratory tasks such as glassware washing, autoclaving, media preparation, and assisting with experimental procedures.

• Location: La Jolla, San Diego, CA (CA Campus)

• Modality: On-site

• Compensation: $16.85 - $19.85 per hour (based on experience)

• Estimated Time Commitment: Part-time, up to 19 hours per week (year-round position)

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be currently enrolled in high school, an associate’s program, a bachelor’s program, or a master’s program

• Strong interest in biomedical research and laboratory work

• Ability to manage laboratory maintenance and assist with research tasks
