Overview: Element Biosciences is seeking a Fluidics Engineering Intern – Consumable/Flowcell to join their team in San Diego. The intern will work on cutting-edge projects in sequencing technology, contributing to consumable and flowcell development. This role provides hands-on experience in experimentation, data analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Eligibility Requirements:
Junior or Senior year student in a Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD program in Engineering, Bioengineering, Biomedical, Biology, Physics, or a related field
1–3 years of wet lab experience
Basic understanding of fluid mechanics, mechanics, optics, chemistry, and microscopy preferred
Device characterization experience in fluidic consumables, microfluidic chips, or related applications preferred
Data analysis skills using Python, Matlab, or C++ required
Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and teamwork skills
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
