Overview: WSP USA is seeking an Environmental Planning Intern for Summer 2025 to support a variety of planning tasks, including project research, fieldwork, preliminary data analysis, and reporting. This 12-week internship offers mentorship, hands-on experience, and networking opportunities within a global leader in environmental consulting.

Key Information:

  • Location: San Diego, CA; Costa Mesa, CA; Santa Barbara, CA; Riverside, CA

  • Modality: In-person

  • Compensation: $19.13 - $27.50 per hour

  • Estimated Time Commitment: 12 weeks, starting May 29, 2025 (flexible start date)

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Actively enrolled in an accredited Undergraduate program in Environmental Planning or a related field (Master’s or PhD candidates preferred)

  • Anticipated graduation date of August 2025 or later

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship

  • Demonstrated interest in environmental remediation or related field

  • Competent interpersonal and communication skills for professional interaction

  • Basic proficiency in technical writing, office software, and tools (MS Office Suite experience preferred)

  • Proven ability to uphold workplace safety and abide by WSP’s policies
