Overview: The Data Science Intern position at Intuit offers a summer internship opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in building data products using the collective financial data of over 100 million consumers and small businesses. Interns will collaborate with Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, and cross-functional teams to uncover insights, improve customer experiences, and develop machine learning models. This internship provides exposure to cutting-edge areas such as time series forecasting, reinforcement learning, NLP, deep learning, and more.

• Compensation: $35.20 - $54.20 per hour, based on education and location

• Estimated Time Commitment: Full-time summer internship

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be actively enrolled in a degree-seeking program, with plans to return to school after the internship

• Graduation date of Winter 2025 or later

• Familiarity with machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, clustering, optimization) and their mathematical foundations

• Proficiency in programming (Python and Scala preferred)

• Ability to explore and preprocess data for machine learning

• Strong communication skills and a quick learner

• Experience with developing machine learning solutions and tools like Hadoop or Spark is a plus
