Overview: The College to Career (C2C) program by California MENTOR offers individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to pursue a college education, gain independent living skills, and transition smoothly into employment. Partnering with Harbor Regional Center, Long Beach City College, and HOPE Inc., C2C provides educational coaching, supported living services, and assistance with daily tasks to promote success in college and beyond.

Estimated Time Commitment: Up to four years, depending on the chosen degree or certification program
Eligibility Requirements:
Adults 22 and older with a high school diploma
Enrolled at Long Beach City College, taking a minimum of six college units per semester
Must participate in 20 hours of educational coaching weekly
Willingness to live in off-campus housing and follow an Individualized Service Plan for independent living skills development
