Organization Overview: Helix Electric, one of the nation’s largest electrical contracting companies, is offering a Project Engineer Internship for Spring 2025. This internship provides hands-on experience, allowing interns to assist project managers in the planning, execution, and finalization of projects. Interns will be exposed to a variety of project types and phases, learning critical skills for a career in the construction industry.

Key Information:

• Location: San Diego, CA (On-site)

• Modality: In-person

• Compensation: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour, with potential for bonus and benefits

• Estimated Time Commitment: Full-time during the internship period

• Additional Benefits: Relocation assistance, housing stipend or corporate apartment

Eligibility Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field

• Previous construction or internship experience is preferred

• Strong communication, organizational, and math skills

• Highly motivated, with the ability to take initiative and work across all organizational levels
