Overview: The internship program provides part-time employment opportunities for college-level students in the Marketing & Communications department. Interns will assist with marketing campaigns, public relations efforts, and communications tasks, gaining practical experience closely related to their field of study.

Eligibility Requirements:
Must be a current college or graduate student enrolled in at least six (6) units (part-time) or twelve (12) units (full-time) at an accredited institution
A valid California Class C driver's license is required
Ability to pass background checks for specific assignments (e.g., maritime facilities or Harbor Police)
Documentation from the school registrar is needed for pay advancement
Must comply with the District's mandatory COVID-19 vaccine policy, unless exempt for medical or religious reasons
