Sanford Burnham Prebys is offering an unpaid Philanthropy Internship, providing an opportunity to support the Philanthropy team with a variety of data entry and administrative projects. Interns will gain exposure to the operations of a philanthropy department, including front-line fundraising and event management. This is an ideal opportunity for those interested in non-profit work and CRM database management.

Key Information:

  • Location: On-site at Sanford Burnham Prebys

  • Modality: In-person

  • Compensation: Unpaid

  • Estimated Time Commitment: 8-12 weeks, minimum of 10 hours per week during standard business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Strong interest in non-profit work and philanthropy

  • Organizational and data management skills

  • Ability to commit to the required schedule
