Organization Overview: Toward Maximum Independence (TMI) is a nonprofit organization that has transformed thousands of lives by providing assistance to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), giving them the ability to realize their hopes and dreams.

Key Information: The Toward Maximum Independence (TMI) Supported Employment Paid Internship Program (PIP) is designed to encourage competitive integrated employment (CIE) for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (clients).

• Quality Assurance Emphasis

• Low Employee Turnover

• Job Analysis and Safety Review

Eligibility Requirements:

• Have an intellectual and developmental disability.

• Receive services through Regional Center.
