Overview: NYC Service, a division of the Mayor’s Office, is dedicated to providing access, opportunities, and resources for communities to come together and serve New York City. Established in 2009, NYC Service responds to the national call for volunteerism inspired by President Barack Obama’s goal of engaging millions of Americans in service.
