Overview: The NRCF Scholarship supports both out and closeted LGBTQ+ students pursuing higher education. Scholarships can be used for tuition, books, fees, room and board, and other educational expenses. Starting in California, the fund aims to expand nationally in the future.

Location: California residents only (nationwide expansion planned)
Modality: In-person or online
Compensation: Financial aid covering educational expenses
Estimated time commitment: Minimum enrollment of 6 units
Eligibility Requirements:
Identify as LGBTQ+ (out or closeted)
Must be a high school senior, current or incoming college/university student, community college student, or adult re-entry student
Demonstrate financial need by completing FAFSA, the California DREAM Act Application, or the Federal Student Aid Estimator Tool
Plan to enroll in at least 6 units at a Title IV-approved and accredited public or nonprofit college, university, or trade/vocational school
Must be a California resident for the 2025–2026 academic year
