‘Since 2004, the National Hispanic Health Foundation (NHHF) has granted scholarships to outstanding students pursuing medical, nursing, dental, pharmacy, physician associate, and public health degrees. Initially established in New York City, the program expanded its reach with support from various organizations. In 2007, NHHF partnered with the United Health Foundation (UHF), allowing for an increase in scholarship awards and the introduction of a mentoring program. As of January 2024, NHHF has awarded over $2 million to 412 scholarship recipients.’
