Overview: Mount Carmel volunteers provide invaluable services to patients and visitors across various hospitals and care sites. Opportunities include assisting patients and families, providing companionship, operating courtesy carts, and more.

Location: Multiple Mount Carmel sites (Dublin, East, Grove City, St. Ann’s, New Albany, College of Nursing)
Modality: In-person
Compensation: Volunteer (unpaid)
Estimated Time Commitment:
Adults: Four-hour shifts, one day per week, minimum of six months or 100 hours
College Students: Weekly schedule per semester
Teens (Ages 16-18): Four-hour shifts during summer or school year
Eligibility Requirements
Adults: Ages 18 and older, not enrolled in high school, required TB test, immunization records, flu vaccine (during flu season), and a criminal background check
College Students: Must be enrolled in a college program, interested in clinical settings, and able to commit to a weekly schedule
Teens: Ages 16-18, must complete a multi-step application and onboarding process
