“The American Kidney Fund educates kidney patients, their families, health care professionals, and the general public about kidney disease prevention and treatment through various print materials, webinars, website content, and health outreach events. 

Some of the core responsibilities of the Outreach and Strategic Partnerships Intern are to:

• Assist in developing and updating educational health content for Kidney Health for ALL, AKF’s new website focused on health equity in kidney disease

• Support the planning and programming of educational health content for Kidney Action Week initiatives.

• Complete research that supports the programs and services of the Outreach and Strategic Partnerships team

• Provide hands-on support by planning and attending local kidney health outreach events.”
