The role of a Business Analyst is an integral part of any IT organization. They act as the key interface between the users and the developers as they gather information, document processes, and confirm the final documents with users. The Business Analyst Intern will learn the requirements gathering and documentation process for creating new dashboards and documenting critical IT projects and processes. They will interview subject matter experts on their processes and document data flows. They will work with IT team members to develop project planning processes and determine the best solution for organizing and communicating current and future projects and timelines for the team. They will review the data warehouse processes and tasks for streamlining and provide suggestions for optimization.
