Overview: The Heithoff-Brody High School Scholars Program is an eight-week paid internship at the Salk Institute, providing high school students with hands-on experience in scientific research. Participants work under the mentorship of Salk scientists, developing key skills for careers in STEM.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Open to high school students

• Required application materials:

• Resume (1-2 pages)

• Short answer responses (200 words each)

• One letter of recommendation

• Unofficial school transcript (PDF format)
