Overview:
Habitat NYC and Westchester is seeking Volunteer Site Leaders (VSLs) to manage small groups of volunteers (up to five) on work sites. VSLs will assist site staff in ensuring tasks are performed correctly and safely during activities, which may include painting, landscaping, and basic construction.

Location: Jamaica, Queens
Modality: In-person
Compensation: Volunteer position
Estimated Time Commitment: 8 am to 3/4 pm, Monday – Friday, usually during the first full week of the month for construction and throughout the month for other activities.
Eligibility Requirements:
Individuals with experience or comfort managing small groups and possessing strong interpersonal skills.
Must commit to attending scheduled events.
Experience with painting, landscaping, and basic construction tools is a plus, though training will be provided.
Compliance with COVID-19 policies, including vaccination or testing requirements, is mandatory.
