Overview: The Build Up Technical Internship Program aims to expand and diversify the National Park Service workforce while addressing critical maintenance needs. The program offers professional experiences in technical fields such as engineering, architecture, community planning, realty services, project management, social sciences, geographic information systems, publication services, and more.

Location: Varies, some positions are remote
Modality: Hybrid (remote and in-person opportunities)
Compensation: Living stipend starting at $21/hour or higher; select positions may include a professional development stipend
Estimated Time Commitment: Minimum of 11 weeks full-time during summer, with potential extensions to part-time during the school year for current students or up to 50 weeks full-time for recent graduates
Eligibility Requirements:
Undergraduate students, graduate students, and recent graduates (up to 2 years post-graduation)
Interest in technical fields such as engineering, architecture, project management, and more
