Overview: BroadFutures empowers neurodivergent young adults to develop independence, confidence, and professional communication skills through tailored programs. With accessible instruction, arts-based and peer-to-peer learning, and stress-reduction techniques, the DC Internship Program ensures inclusive and impactful experiences for interns and employers alike.

Key Information:

  • Location: Washington, DC (in-person)

  • Modality: In-person program with ongoing training and mentoring

  • Compensation: Intern stipends equal to at least the DC minimum wage

  • Time Commitment: Minimum 20 hours per week, Monday–Thursday, either winter session or summer session.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Neurodivergent individuals aged 18–26

• Must hold a high school diploma or GED

• Cognitive ability to pursue higher education

• Participation fee required, with scholarships available based on financial need
