Organization Overview:
The Annual MASS AWIS Mentoring Circle Program brings together small groups of mentees and experienced women mentors from academia or industry to help participants set and achieve personal and professional goals. The program promotes confidence, communication, and leadership skills while fostering a supportive environment for career development. Circles meet regularly to share experiences and challenges.

Key Information:

• Location: Massachusetts (Hybrid: In-person and online depending on health guidelines)

• Modality: Hybrid (in-person and remote)

• Compensation:

  • Returning mentees: $35

  • AWIS members: $50

  • Non-members: $100

  • Mentors participate for free

• Estimated Time Commitment: 2-hour meetings, 10 sessions (once or twice a month)

Eligibility Requirements:

• Open to women in academia or industry

• Mentors: Experienced professionals in academia or industry

• Mentees: Preference is given to early applicants, and selection is based on suitability to the program

• AWIS membership required for member pricing (proof of membership required)
