Organization Overview: AISES (Advancing Indigenous People in STEM) and Chevron has a scholarship that offers $5,000 per academic year to high school seniors and undergraduate students pursuing STEM degrees. Students must reapply annually for continued funding. Eligible fields of study include a range of engineering disciplines, as well as Geology, Geophysics, Petrophysics, and related fields.

  • Eligible Fields of Study: Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Geology, Geophysics, Petrophysics, Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering/Science, Naval Architecture, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be an AISES member

  • Enrollment at an accredited college/university

  • Tribal affiliation

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
