Organization Overview:
The Fairfax County Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Program is seeking volunteers to serve as advocates for children involved in the court system due to abuse or neglect. CASA volunteers work closely with legal and child welfare professionals to ensure that children’s best interests are represented in court. Volunteers provide critical insights into the child’s situation, offering recommendations to help secure a safe, permanent home.

  • Compensation: Unpaid volunteer position

  • Estimated Time Commitment: Approximately 10-15 hours per month, with a minimum commitment of one year

Eligibility Requirements:
