At Penguin Random House, our dedicated team of publishing professionals is committed to helping authors realize their very best work and finding innovative ways to bring stories and ideas to audiences worldwide. Our publicity team generates exposure and "buzz" for new books, advocating for titles across various media platforms.

Location: Remote
Modality: Remote
Compensation: $21/hour
Estimated Time Commitment: 28 hours per week
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be over the age of 18
Must reside in the U.S. for the duration of the internship
No college enrollment or degree is required
Ability to commit to the program from June 9, 2025, to August 18, 2025
Program Highlights:
Internship Duration: 10 weeks (June 9, 2025 – August 18, 2025)
Training and Development: Interns will receive robust training in creating publicity campaigns and learn the intricacies of publicizing books.
Networking Opportunities: Exposure to the publishing process through panels and networking events.
Intern Responsibilities:
Research media contacts to facilitate outreach.
Craft pitches for publicity campaigns targeting newspapers, television, radio, and online platforms.
Track media coverage and assist in mailing books to media contacts.
Participate in team meetings to brainstorm new outlets and contacts for book pitches.
