Overview:
The High School Technical Internship (HIP) at Northrop Grumman provides hands-on experience in engineering fields, including electronics, mechanics, and optical technologies. Interns will assist with troubleshooting, calibration, testing, and maintenance of equipment and components while working alongside experienced engineers.

Modality: In-person
Compensation: $17.25 - $20.75 per hour
Time Commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week) for up to 10 weeks during summer 2025
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be a high school senior enrolled in an accredited Northrop Grumman partner high school
Successful completion of the two-year Northrop Grumman High School Involvement Partnership (HIP) Mentoring Program
Accepted enrollment for Fall 2025 at an accredited college/university
Intending to major in a STEM-related field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math)
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 (preferred 3.2/4.0)
