Organization Overview:
Smart Kids with Learning Disabilities® recognizes students who have achieved success despite or because of their learning challenges. The Fred J. Epstein Youth Achievement Awards celebrate young people with LD and ADHD who have made a notable impact on their schools and communities through their talents, determination, and accomplishments in various fields such as art, music, science, math, athletics, or community service. This scholarship is available to students from all over the country.
Key Information:
Location: Darien, Connecticut (Awards presentation).
Modality: In-person, transportation costs and hotel accommodations will be provided by Smart Kids for the child and parents.
Compensation: $1,000 Fred J. Epstein Youth Achievement Award; $500 Special Recognition Award
Eligibility Requirements:
Open to students 19 years or younger
Must have demonstrated initiative, talent, and determination resulting in notable accomplishments in any field
Applicants must have LD or ADHD
Notable achievements in fields such as art, music, science, math, athletics, or community service
